Element 26 fabricates designs by other artists and Cjay occasionally works as a lead fabricator and structural welder for other companies. Below are examples of work designed by others and fabricated in whole or part by us.
Infinity Swing
This powdercoated steel kinetic art piece was fabricated in whole for artist Sharòn Pedrini by Element 26. It is currently installed at Point San Pablo Harbor.
Stella
This stellated icosahedron by Engineered Artworks has a steel core and aluminum points. Structural fabrication and leading and coordinating the fabrication and finishing team was done by Cjay.
Reno Spouts
Three sculptures fabricated for Michael Christian, these steel sculptures had added flexible LED components and are in stalled in Reno, NV

Two matching security gates and frames with tight tolerances for an apartment unit in San Francisco
Planters for Brenda
Corten planter boxes with repaired vintage cast iron sections create a 1% for art seating area outside of Brenda's French restaurant in Oakland
Slat Gate
Fabricated with DeFauw Design this slatted gate has progressively rotated slats, so standing at the gate one can see out, but it is difficult to see in. A matching mailbox and doorbell system and lighted handrail complete the entryway.
Brazed Brass Pot Rack
A solid brass braised pot rack and magnetic knife strip for a local chef matches other brass details in her kitchen.
Cedar Gate
A powdercoated planter and cedar gate revive a San Francisco sidewalk
Expanse
The steel "portal" and legs were built and patinated for artist Renzo Verbeck by Element 26.
Compression Struts
Stainless compression struts designed by Architect Stephen Grover for a hexagonal house. These replace pillars currently holding up the roof and meet at a central hub.
Kilroy Stars
Four large LED lit stars, Designed and fabricated by Engineered Artworks, placed in four different cities, grace the tops of buildings owned by the Kilroy group. Cjay did the structural welding for each of them.
Sliding Closet Doors
Fabricated with DeFauw Design, these raw steel sliding doors have added texture with removed millscale areas protected by a lacquer finish.
Beam
Structural welding for Benjamin Langholtz's "Beam," a 128 foot long, 16 food tall I beam interactive sculpture.
Corten Rails
A matching handrail, railing and corten planter box lead from a garden area up to a parking level and entryway to a Berkeley Hills house. Fabricated with DeFauw Design

Laser cut and formed brass panels divide a master bedroom from a shower area.
